A running list of house maintenance todo items in no particular order

General

Patch & repaint all walls, ceilings, & trim - DONE
Re-key locks (front door & garage)
Fix upstairs washing machine (banging noise during spin cycle with clothes in it)
Determine if a sump pump needs to be installed?
Get a quote on back fence
Get a quote on new windows
Have a chimney sweep come out to determine if the fireplace is safe to use
Empty out garage/shed @ parents and bring items here
Stop gas/electrical service @ apartment
Patch all holes & clean apartment
Clean up garage
Garage door opener main rail seems to be pulling away when opening / closing garage (loose?)
Figure out organization system for garage & basement work area
Get rid of old kitchen in basement
Keep some cabinets from old kitchen in basement and set up as tool storage (basement/garage)
Figure out how to use water softener - water test still shows hard water
Remove rented water softener and install owned? Rented is currently $25/mo
Office window sill is rotted (interior/exterior) - replace
Garage window sill could possibly be rotted - look into this
Caulk around windows outside
Clean, scrape, and re-paint windows (only if not replacing)
Check if hot water heater anode rod needs to be replaced
Order replacement furnace filters
Inspect attic
Insulate rim joists in basement
Main bathroom pocket door does not lock
“Dripping” noise heard in main bathroom after showering (related to tub pull thing? expansion?)

Electrical

Install GFCI breaker for office circuit - DONE
Install doorbell camera - DONE
Add “No equipment ground & GFCI protected” stickers to outlets
Install AFCI/GFCI at first receptacle for living room circuit
Replace garage workbench outlet
Replace garage door opener outlet / remove cheater plug
Ensure garage outlets are AFCI/GFCI protected
Open splice found in attic (going to garage door opener outlet)
Figure out what circuits (or all?) are using MWBC’s (shared neutrals)
Light switch in first bathroom has its dimmer upside down - DONE
Get front flood light working
Add backyard flood light?
Install outdoor security cameras
Run ethernet to office & living room
Ground all outlets (office, living room, and garage) - long term goal
Test all outdoor outlets for GFCI functionality & ground
Install auto on/off timer for front porch light
Install light switch sensor for garage
Look into being alerted remotely when smoke detector / carbon monoxide detector goes off
Install another outlet in dining room area (behind bookshelf)
“Switched” outlets in living room and bedroom are annoying, change this
